Background

Hydro One Networks Inc. (Hydro One) is currently in the process of preparing its 2007/08 Transmission Revenue Requirement & Rate Application to the Ontario Energy Board (OEB). The application will consist of a revenue requirement (the funding required to run Hydro One); a cost allocation; and, a rate design component (how Hydro One proposes to recover this money from their various customer groups). The application is scheduled for submission in the fall of 2006.

As part of this application development process, Hydro One is undertaking a consultation process with key stakeholders, and meeting with First Nations.

Purpose

The purpose of the First Nations Discussion Sessions is to provide a forum for dialogue between Hydro One and First Nations stakeholders to discuss, clarify and prioritize key topics related to the application. The discussion sessions, along with any submissions received through the Hydro One web site, will be considered in the development of the content of Hydro One's submission to the OEB. Download the Terms of Reference (PDF - 57 KB).
