2006 Distribution Rate Application

On August 17, 2005, Hydro One Networks filed a distribution rate application with the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) for its 2006 revenue requirement and customer rates. Hydro One sought approval of a revenue requirement for 2006 of $965 million. On April 12, 2006 the OEB issued its Decision with Reasons approving a revenue requirement of $965 million and on April 27, 2006 the OEB Rate Order (with rate schedules attached) was issued.

Hydro One conducted an extensive consultation program with stakeholders seeking input on key issues, revenue requirement and rate impacts. The process helped Hydro One to refine and shape its rate application and ensure that customer and stakeholder concerns were adequately addressed.
