(ETR) data on power outages on this website should not be considered as
firm commitments for power restoration. ETRs are predictions by Hydro One
crews when they arrive at the site of the problem based on a host of factors
such as severity of damage to facilities, accessibility in bringing in replacement
equipment, and opportunities to "backfeed" affected customers
by rerouting electricity supply through other power lines.
